Sophie Bramford on target for Wolves Women

Wolves took another step towards the FA National League Division One Midlands title thanks to a hard-fought success at Doncaster Belles.

A first-half strike from Sophie Bramford secured the win and left Wolves 12 points clear of second-placed Birmingham & West Midlands with seven games remaining.

Albion hit form in the Northern Premier Division. Goals from Keeley Davies, Harriet James, Leigh Dugmore and Evangeline Gallop saw them to a 4-2 success at home to Hull City.

Sandwell Ladies continued their charge towards the West Midlands League Division One North title.

They saw off Solihull Sporting 5-2 to move into pole position, a point clear of AFC Telford and with three games in hand.

Rachel Green (two), Rachael Neal, Siobhan Hodgetts and Katie Adams were on target.

Kidderminster Harriers have secured a second cup final appearance of the season.

Harriers eased to a 4-1 win over Droitwich to book a Division One South Cup final showdown with Stourbridge.

Kirsty Roberts, Bailey-Raine Hodge, Alex Nicklin and Katie Priest scored for Harriers, who take on Kingfisher in the Worcestershire FA County Cup final on Sunday
