Wolves wing-back Jonny Castro Otto has not made the trip to Espanyol after injuring his ankle in last weekend's win against Norwich.

The 25-year-old Spaniard, who was forced off late on in the 3-0 victory at Molineux, is the one absentee from an otherwise full-strength squad for the Europa League last-32 second-leg, writes Joe Edwards in Barcelona.

He took a kick from Canaries defender Ben Godfrey on Sunday and left Molineux wearing a protective boot.

Likely to be playing in his absence is Ruben Vinagre, who made his return from a hamstring issue against Norwich – taking Otto's place for the final few minutes at left-wing-back.

January signing Daniel Podence – snapped up for £17million from Olympiakos – could make his first start for Wolves, who go into the RCDE Stadium clash 4-0 up from the first leg.

Fellow January arrival Leonardo Campana has flown out to Catalonia, as have fringe players Bruno Jordao and Oskar Buur as Nuno Espirito Santo's side aim to see the job through and get into the Europa's last 16.
