Patrick Cutrone scores first goal for Fiorentina since leaving Wolves
Wolves outcast Patrick Cutrone scored on his Fiorentina debut today as they beat Atalanta 2-1 in the Coppa Italia.
The Italian found his goalscoring touch only 13 minutes into the game, firing the ball home from an unmarked position before being substituted in the 72nd minute.
He was making his maiden outing for the Serie A side since signing on loan from Wolves last week, agreeing a temporary 18-month switch that will become a permanent £15.3million deal in the summer of 2021.
The forward signed for Wolves for in the region of £16m in the summer and played in 24 matches - though he started just three games in the Premier League.
He netted just three goals in all competitions for the men in old gold and black – the last being in a 2-0 win against West Ham on December 4.
