Fan fury at Wolves being charged £55 for Manchester United replay
Wolves supporters are being charged an eye-watering £55 for the FA Cup third-round replay at Manchester United.
While a date for the tie is still to be confirmed, the pricing – set by the hosts – has been announced and non-members will have to pay through the nose to watch the game at Old Trafford, between £45 and £55.
Even season ticket-holders could have to pay as much as £47.
The cheapest adult ticket for season ticket-holders is £37.
The Premier League has capped the price of away tickets at £30, but with this being the Cup, there is no legislation to prevent United from putting the prices so high.
Wolves, who have an allocation of 3,048 for the replay, charged United supporters a maximum of £35 for the 0-0 draw at Molineux this past weekend.
