Coady, 26, played every minute for Wolves in their 2018-19 seventh-placed finish season. And the centre-half has kept that incredible run up this season starting all 11 of Wolves’ games to date.

The defender made a number of errors in the 5-2 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.

But Nuno says his central defender will not be rested.

Though as Wolves embark on another Thursday, Sunday, Wednesday Saturday, Thursday, Sunday schedule the Portuguese boss says there will be a time when that could be on the cards.

He said: “We know that he is a player that last year made all of the appearances in all of the competitions.

“A lot of credit from the way he does things, (he is) fantastic.

“He takes care of himself, he prepares well, he competes very well.

“Eventually there will be a moment (when he needs a rest) but that the moment he is ready to go and he will go (and play).”

Nuno and his team have analysed the defensive errors from the Chelsea defeat.

On Saturday Coady took his central role of the back three with Romain Saiss and Jesus Vallejo on either side.

For Nuno his Wolves side now need to find solutions within their team to stop Coady getting isolated.

Does he think Coady has become more isolated?

He answered: “At Chelsea the way they played with Tammy Abraham constantly on him.

“We eventually changed the system also.

“We have to find solutions and what we have is a lot of hours, working together to realise that.

“We need to improve on that.”

And Nuno stressed that the team, not just Coady, need to improve defensively. How did Coady deal with that Chelsea defeat?

Nuno answered: “We know when we do the analysis it is a global analysis based on things.

"Individual mistakes that he made but how and why they happen is what we work on and try to find a solution to not repeat them again.

“The mistake is always the same if it is individual or the team we have to analyse them separate to find the solution.”

Nuno has a fully fit squad at his disposal and is pleased to have Willy Boly back in contention.

The defender missed the clash with Chelsea after picking up two yellow cards in the 3-2 Everton defeat.

For Nuno having everyone in contention is the biggest boost.

He said: “It is good (having Boly back) because when we don’t have a player there is always an absence, when we have everyone available like we have it is a big boost for a manager to have all of his players available.”

Nuno opted to leave Ryan Bennett out of the squad for the Chelsea defeat explaining that the defender was left out for Vallejo due to team selection rather than fitness reasons.

And Nuno says Bennett has trained as normal this week and is in contention as he stressed that his side will need to stick together to improve.

How did Bennett react to the omission in training?

He said: “Normal. Like every player.

“He trains always at the highest level, there is no player that trains in a lowest level.

“They train and compete and everyone trains very well, very focused, realising that have to improve and we have to stick together to improve.

“That is the best option and keep on, keeping on.”

When asked about Bennett’s omission again Nuno answered: “Profile is about the size of the player, it is not about the profile of the player.

“We have options for the right side, we play that team we have options for the left side.

“These options we deal with complexities of many hours of games, training sessions.

“Players on the right side train together.

“Then you have to decide based on these complexities and all those aspects.

“On Thursday for example we have the option on the right side of Vallejo, Bennet maybe we need options for the left side Saiss, Max and Boly who are ready to go.

“Coady is OK, he is going to play.”
