Chelsea are up next for Wolves.

We spoke with Simon Phillips, writer for TalkChelsea, to get a proper look at Frank Lampard's side.

See what he had to say here:

It's been a strange summer for Chelsea this time around, with a new boss coming in and a transfer ban to deal with, what's the mood like around Stamford Bridge?

The mood is great, best it’s been for a long time. People have a belief in Frank and the changing culture at the club.

How has Frank Lampard taken to his role as Chelsea boss? It seems like a job he was destined to do?

Yeah it was meant to be. Hopefully it’s not a little too soon, but it was always going to happen. He has a lot of work to do though, but most fans are aware of that and will be patient.

Frank Lampard seemed destined for the job at Stamford Bridge.

How have Chelsea coped to start the season?

I describe it as stuttering. We’ve had flashes of brilliance, but worrying how easy we leak goals.

The Super Cup performance was excellent and very encouraging though. It’s early doors.

What would you say are the expectations among fans this year?

I think most believe we can get top four. Others are a little more pessimistic.

We've got a good shot at a trophy too.

It's been a stuttering start for Chelsea.

A lot has been made of the young players coming through the ranks at Stamford Bridge, what have you made of them?

Well, it’s undeniable that two of them Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham have been up there with our best performers so far, and are also both scoring crucial goals. Hopefully they can keep that up but great early signs.

What kind of football can we expect from Chelsea against Wolves?

Lampard plays a high intensity style of football, we will move the ball quick and attack directly. We will also press high and look to disposes Wolves possession on every opportunity.

Who would you say Wolves should be most worried about in the encounter?

Wolves will have to be aware of Mount, he’s obviously a goal scoring threat if given even a half chance, as is Abraham.

But if Kante is back, he will be Chelsea’s engine again and you’ll want him to have a quiet game. If Kante is ticking, Chelsea are ticking!

Tammy Abraham has been quick to find his feet in the top flight with the Blues.

What have you made of Wolves from afar, do you think they have what it takes to handle European and domestic football this season?

I said the same last season and they proved me right, but Wolves are a great side and will again surprise people this season.

It’ll be very tough for them in Europe, but then again it will be very tough for us too!

Your match prediction?

Chelsea to win 2-0.
