Rui Patricio

Although less at fault than Coady, he played his part in gifting Everton the lead in the early stages of the encounter. He could have done better with Iwobi's header too, but made some strong saves towards the end to deny the Toffees from winning by a greater margin. 5

Ryan Bennett

It was a day to forget for all three of Wolves' centre-halves, but Bennett did at least make a potentially goal-saving tackle – sliding in to deny Kean from getting a shot off at close range. Was one of several to picking up a booking a couple of minutes later, though. 5

Conor Coady

Wolves' skipper did not cover himself in glory for Everton's first goal, allowing Richarlison to score as he failed to clear when Patricio hesitated to come off his line. Struggled against Kean – leading the line for the hosts – too. 4

Willy Boly

Usually so assured on the left side of the back three, Boly's decision-making was all off and his frustration got the better of him. Was beaten too easily in the air by Richarlison for the winner and picked up two bookings to be shown a red card. Worst he has been for Wolves. 3

Adama Traore

Arguably Wolves' standout performer so far this season, Traore impressed again as his fearless run down the right flank saw him get to the byline and put the ball into the danger zone, where Saiss finished. Still adjusting to the defensive side of things. 6

Romain Saiss

The defensive midfielder was given another start after impressing over the two legs against Torino, and was Wolves' greatest attacking threat from midfield – getting on the scoresheet. Taken off for Moutinho on the hour mark, but he was one of the better players. 6

Ruben Neves

Starting again in midfield after being on the bench for the Torino game on Thursday, Neves was constantly dropping deep to get on the ball. But he was too deep. Jimenez and Cutrone were often left stranded by Neves and his midfield partners. 5

Leander Dendoncker

As ever, Dendoncker's application could not be faulted, but he lacked quality with the ball. He regularly had it nicked off him by the very busy Delph around the halfway line, while Gomes picked the passes out to get Everton on the attack. 5

Ruben Vinagre

It was a big call from Nuno to play him, and it was one that did not pay off. Vinagre's last start before this was at Torino, in which he performed badly, and he was just as poor here. Frequently caught out of position after losing the ball high up the pitch. Booked too. 4

Raul Jimenez

Not at his best, running into trouble a fair few times. Despite a lack of service and help from midfield, though, he got himself a goal – heading in from point-blank range after a long throw into the box, taking a kick to the face from Digne in the process. 6

Patrick Cutrone

Making his full league debut in gold and black, Cutrone would have scored a couple of goals had it not been for a fine block from Keane and save from Pickford. The Italian worked hard as the travelling fans sang about him loving pizza and pasta. 6

Also failed to make a significant impact. 5

Booked in his short time on the pitch. 5
