John Ruddy

As expected, it was a quiet night for Wolves' stand-in shot-stopper. Only faced a few tame shots. A clean sheet, though, so Ruddy will be happy. 7

Jesus Vallejo

The Real Madrid loanee displayed his Spanish skill with a sumptuous long-ball to Cutrone in the first half, and then an even better one to the Italian in the build-up to Neto's goal. A few wobbly moments defensively, picking up a booking, but a solid debut. 7

Conor Coady

Wolves' Mr Reliable remained at the heart of defence to guide debutants Vallejo and Kilman through. He did just that, always talking, organising. 7

Maximilian Kilman

A few loose touches and one or two late tackles came in a nervy start from the youngster, but he looked a lot more assured as the game went on. You can tell he used to play futsal as he's at home with the ball at his feet. 7

Adama Traore

Well, a left-footed shot which ended up going out for a throw-in after neat work to create space summed up a frustrating first half for the speedster. The second half was more productive, and he chipped in with the assist for Vinagre's goal. 7

Romain Saiss

The Moroccan is never the most flashy. He just kept things ticking over nicely in the middle of the park, allowing Gibbs-White to break forward more often. 7

Morgan Gibbs-White

Elation and relief were felt in equal measure as the teenager got off the mark. That goal has been a long time coming, and if he carries on those late runs from midfield to get on the end of crosses, he'll score a lot more. 7

Joao Moutinho

One of two kept in the side from the Leicester draw, Moutinho did not actually see a lot of the ball. A calming influence, but Wolves stepped things up a gear and got their goals after he went off. 6

Ruben Vinagre

The more we see from the Portuguese wing-back, the more excited we become. Vinagre is such a force going forward and deservedly ended up on the scoresheet. Still sharpening up to do on the back foot, but when he's at full pelt, he's frightening. 8

Pedro Neto

As far as debuts go, a goal and an assist are pretty good going. Neto rushed things a little early on, trying too hard, but scored from close range and then flexed his muscles, putting the ball on a plate for Gibbs-White. Never shied away from the ball. 8

Patrick Cutrone

You sense Cutrone will become a fans' favourite with his immense work ethic – not giving the Pyunik backline a moment's respite. Set up Neto, but he'll be slightly irked that he didn't get on the scoresheet. 7

Leander Dendoncker (for Moutinho, 52)

Added more of an attacking impetus as the floodgates opened. 7

Raul Jimenez (for Cutrone, 72)

Nonchalantly scooped the ball to Jota, who finished fantastically to make it four. 7

Diogo Jota (for Neto, 72)

An utterly magical goal, symbolic of a class player brimming with confidence. 8
