The 21-year-old Nigerian returned to Molineux this summer after a fruitful spell with Coventry City in League One in the second half of last season, after spending the first half of the term with Kilmarnock.

Some thought that may have been enough for Nuno to give him a first-team opportunity again – after he played a part in Wolves' Championship-winning 2017/18 campaign.

But the Wolves chief said: "As we all know, there will be players going out again on loan, because we think that is better for their careers.

"Bright did well at Coventry, and if there's the right place for him to keep growing and improving as a player, it's good for us."

Enobakhare is thought to be a target for Birmingham. He has scored three times in 49 Wolves appearances.
