Could these be the new Wolves kits?

Images of what appear to be the new designs have circulated online, and the club have announced photos of the players wearing the new gold and black strip will be released at 9am on Thursday.

It will be available for fans to pre-order on that day, and will then go on sale at 6pm in the Molineux Megastore on Tuesday, July 9, in an official launch event.

The home shirt which has spread on Twitter looks to be of a darker shade than last season’s, with the Adidas stripes down the sides as opposed to on the sleeves. The away top, meanwhile, is primarily black with gold Adidas stripes on the sleeves and gold diagonal pinstripes across the front.

It also has the new ManBetX sponsor on it, after Wolves signed the biggest sponsorship deal in the club’s history with the betting firm.

Previous shirt sponsors W88 were ditched after just one season for a more lucrative deal with the Malta-based ManBetX.

It is understood Wolves exercised a break clause in their W88 deal to end their sponsorship after one season.

A similar situation happened with The Money Shop when Wolves won promotion from the Championship.

ManBetX – who ‘offer odds and streams on an array of sports including football, basketball and ice hockey to a wide audience across Asia’ – also sponsor Premier League rivals Crystal Palace and the Welsh Open snooker.

Wolves insist the plan was always to unveil the new top next week.

For those looking to go to the club shop to purchase the home shirt on Tuesday, July 9, parking will be available on the Stan Cullis Car Park and a queuing system will be put in place outside the store.

The launch event is set to run between 6pm and 10pm, but the shop will be closed from 2.30pm in the afternoon in preparation.
