Wolves are facing the Hornets – also in the race for seventh in the Premier League – after losing to them in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

Javi Gracia's side won the reverse fixture in the league as well, but Nuno is not going into it with the mentality to right those wrongs as 'that would be a mistake'. He is treating it as a fresh challenge.

"It's a new game, a new challenge. That would be a mistake," said Nuno on if Wolves are seeking payback.

"Revenge or payback situations can blind you, and take away from your focus and attention.

"It's just a new game, a new challenge.

"Our idea is always to go game by game. The past is the past.

"We work on that and motivate ourselves, prepare ourselves to compete."

Gerard Deulofeu was the star of the semi-final for Watford, who have skipper Troy Deeney suspended for this one.

Wolves go into it with a clean bill of health.

"We assess their strengths, weaknesses and prepare ourselves," added Nuno.

"We know they're a good team, so it'll be a tough challenge. It's always the same."
