Wolves came up with an extraordinary second-half comeback to beat Tottenham 3-1.

Harry Kane opened the scoring with a scorcher for Spurs, but Willy Boly began the response with a bullet header, before Raul Jimenez's clever finish and Helder Costa's first Premier League goal

Nuno, who took to the pitch to celebrate with the travelling faithful after the final whistle, said: "This is what we enjoy. This is what we work for.

"Our fans have travelled so many miles. To give them this joy is what we work for.

"I'm very proud. Character is something that we try to insist, something that is part of our identity.

"What we had was two different halves. The first half, we were very organised and Tottenham had possession of the ball. They had control of the game. They were the team that was managing the game clearly.

"It was important for us to stay in the game, knowing that if you are unbalanced defensively, your task is very hard.

"In the second half, we tried to go for the game and play.

"The second half was fantastic. It was a very, very good performance. The boys did very well."

And when asked if the second-half showing ranks among the best in his time in charge of Wolves, Nuno added: "It's hard to tell, but it's the way we play – the how we play – which is important.

"We played how we work and how we want to be. We keep believing."
