Rui Patricio

One very smart block to deny Mitrovic in the first half and overall he did fine and made some decent saves. He's under pressure for the goal but still has to do better with that punch. 7/10

Ryan Bennett

Like his two central defensive colleagues he endured a difficult first half against Fulham's lively front three, especially Mitrovic. Caught out late on from the long ball over the top that Mitrovic almost bundled over the line. But in between all that he recovered well and also covered for his two colleagues on a couple of occasions with important interceptions. 6/10

Conor Coady

A little bit panicked a couple of times in the first half when he didn't connect properly with one or two clearances. Again, like the defence and the team he was much better after the break and earns an extra point for that goal-saving and point-earning clearance in the dying minutes. Great awareness, pace and determination to clear that one. Also sprayed some nice passes to the flanks. 7/10

Willy Boly

A couple of rash moments in the first half when his positioning left something to be desired. A superb touch to deny Kamara a tap-in in the second half. 6/10

Matt Doherty

A fairly anonymous display from Doherty who offered little in an attacking sense (to be fair most of Wolves' second-half attacks went down the left) but was fine defensively. 6/10

Joao Moutinho

He'll have had pheasant for his Christmas Day lunch. And some sort of fancy red wine-infused gravy. The guy is too classy for turkey and Bisto. After a below-par few weeks this was Moutinho at his dominant best. Well, it was in the second half at least. Drove Wolves on with some piercing and probing passes, but also won no fewer than eight tackles, the highest number produced by a Wolves player this season (the next highest was seven by, yes, Moutinho at Leicester and also Jonny at West Ham). Played his part in the equaliser when he slipped Cavaleiro in. Other than that he did find it difficult to thread the needle, but it wasn't for a lack of trying. 8/10

Romain Saiss

Loves a Boxing Day goal in London. This one wasn't exactly as spectacular as his 20-yarder at Millwall a year ago, but he was in the right place at the right time after making a good run into the box. Making the most of the opportunities given to him by Nuno and surely has to keep his place in the side now? Impressive moments defensively (particularly when helping to quell Mitrovic's threat in the second half) and offensively. 7/10

Jonny Castro Otto

Like Doherty, not the busiest of games. Did the simple things well and he played his part in Wolves' improvement after the break when he combined to good effect with Cavaleiro. 6/10

Morgan Gibbs-White

Not his day. Fulham played five at the back and had two defensive-minded midfielders to shield them, so there was precious little room for Gibbs-White to operate in. Tried coming deep to win the ball in the first half and then after the break he was pushed further forward by Nuno. That was starting to work well, but then he was substituted. Big things are rightly expected of Gibbs-White who's had an excellent few weeks but his age and experience must be taken into account – it was just his sixth league start for the club. He'll have learned a lot from this one. 5/10

Raul Jimenez

Was leading the line on his own in the first half. Two good attempts at goal – one was very nearly a wondergoal when he chested, flicked and volleyed the ball. Busier than Christopher Biggins in panto season. Should have done better with a couple of misplaced headers from crosses but with his back to goal you couldn't really fault him, 7/10

Adama Traore

How do you solve a problem like Adama Traore? Had shown improvement against Liverpool but this was a poor showing. Touched the ball just 17 times and only completed six passes. His runs were often lacking purpose and direction. Yes his team mates couldn't get him into decent areas and yes Nuno isn't playing him in his favoured position, but even taking both those factors into account this wasn't up to scratch. 4/10

Substitutes

Ivan Cavaleiro (for Traore, 45)

Wolves instantly looked better for him being on the pitch. Added width and creativity and played the most incisive pass of the match for Wolves' equaliser. There's an argument for saying he's Wolves' best finisher and best crosser of the ball, but when he's been given a starting berth he hasn't taken his opportunities. Will that change at Wembley, when it's a decent bet he'll be brought back in? 7/10

Helder Costa (for Gibbs-White, 63)

Helped stretch the play a bit with his pace but otherwise he was ineffective. 5/10

Ruben Vinagre (for Otto, 82)

A couple of nice touches and linked well with Cavaleiro. N/A

Subs not used: Ruddy, Kilman, Neves, Bonatini.
