The Portuguese forward limped off at half-time during last weekend's 2-0 victory over Bournemouth at Molineux, clutching his hamstring.

It's believed he's taken part in light training sessions this week and will be given every chance to feature against the Reds.

Jota played a key role in Wolves managing to win three top-flight games in succession for the first time since 1980.

He scored the winner against Chelsea and opened the scoring against Newcastle, after previously failing to find the net since April.

Nuno Espirito Santo said of the player after the Bournemouth game: "We have to check. He was not able to continue the game.

"Now, we have to assess him. The doctor has to assess him, and we hope that it's nothing too serious."
