Bennett described his incredible 18 months at Wolves and the unity he feels between everybody involved with the club.

"If you look at it from my personal point of view, I came into a club who were trying to do things that other clubs have tried to do for the past five or six seasons," he said.

"But the players, the management, the staff and everybody around the club, just came together.

"We came in, we worked hard, we lost together, we won together. Every time we trained, we were always together.

"I think, that's been talked about throughout the fans, having that 'one pack' that is talked about so much.

"That is the overriding feeling that we had last year and being a part of that was, kind of like a bubble there was no way out and no distractions."

Wolves ended their six-year exile from the Premier League last season when Championship promotion rivals Fulham failed to win at home against Brentford while Bennett and his teammates watched on TV.

Last season's triumph promised the 28-year-old his first taste of top-flight football since he was relegated with Norwich in 2016.

"When you look back and you put it all together, the celebrations that we had at the end of the year was just a realisation of all the hard work we'd actually put in at the start.

"It was a massive release for the eight, nine months of hard work and how everybody came together for that time, when that goal went in, on that night when we were all at the hotel.

"Part of it was massive relief, celebration and achievement.

"Everything that everyone felt, we felt exactly the same - and that's something we cant to continue."
