Ex-Wolves captain Karl Henry says Saturday's defeat to Watford could be a 'wake-up call' for Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

Wolves went down 2-0 at Molineux with the Hornets scoring twice inside a minute in the first half.

Nuno's men now travel to Brighton looking to bounce back from their second defeat of the campaign.

Henry, speaking on the BBC Radio 5 Live Football Daily podcast, said: "I think Wolves will be absolutely fine, but it's maybe a wake-up call for them to see you can easily lose 2-0 or 3-0.

"Hopefully they'll stop that next week.

"Wolves weren't tested defensively last season, so it will be interesting.

"They've been riding high, with confidence, from winning, dominating the Championship the way they did."

Conor Coady said after the defeat that Wolves won't change their formation no matter who the opposition.

Henry certainly agrees. He added: "If you look at the way Wolves have played, not just this season but last season, they've been consistent.

"They keep the ball, they're expansive and that doesn't change whether it's the first minute or the 90th minute.

"It doesn't change whether they've just conceded or they've just scored – they play the same way.

"I think Wolves are vulnerable to conceding those kind of goals (the second against Watford), but at the same time they create so much. They try and dominate possession, they do the same whether they go to Old Trafford or the Etihad."
