The Spaniard netted three minutes from time to secure three points when Wolves beat Southampton 2-0 at Molineux on Saturday.

Otto has made a good start to life in English football with some impressive performances at left wing-back.

And he said: "The team is doing very well, it is true that we’ve five games without losing, conceding very few goals.

"I think that the team, even though is doing good results, is growing.

"And the most important thing is that we’re a ‘group’ that is growing up and we hope to reach the highest.

"We’re doing very well, but it is true that it's hard for us to score the first goal, and till last minutes in all games we’re suffering.

"On Saturday, fortunately we achieved to score twice to put a two-goals difference. But (in recent) games we were just winning by a goal and suffering a little till the end.

"The team is in an ascent line is improving and that is the important thing. We have people that start on the bench who are playing good games, also people of the line-up. Then I think that the team is very well."

The 24-year-old Atletico Madrid loanee was set up by fellow wing-back Matt Doherty against the Saints.

He said of his strike: "It was a very beautiful goal, especially because it was the second one and give us the peace of mind. It's always it beautiful to score, but even more in a pretty league as the Premier League, sure I'll always remember it."
