Nuno Espirito Santo dismisses speculation linking him and Ruben Neves with Wolves exits

The 44-year-old has been linked with the Manchester United job by a German newspaper, while Neves has been linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain.

But Nuno brushed off those rumours and vowed the squad are fully focused on Wolves.

Asked about his own links, Nuno declared: "You know me, I don't talk about that. It doesn't make sense.

"Now is not the moment to even think, I don't even think, I totally ignore that."

And asked if he had ambitions on managing at that level, Nuno said: "I don't do like that. I go on daily basis, I know what I have to do tomorrow to prepare the boys well, prepare the team for a tough game against Burnley. This is the way I look at the future, day by day."

Neves' has been linked with a move to PSG, which is the latest club rumoured to be interested in the 21-year-old alongside Manchester City, but Nuno said: "We are not surprised (Neves has been linked) because there is always speculation when our players play good.

"We ignore the situations, it doesn't affect us, the players know the reality, there is no transfers now so there is no point of talking."

Wolves gear up to face Burnley on Sunday and Nuno is expecting a tough game at Molineux.

Nuno revealed Wolves have been handed a boost ahead of the fixture as all their players have returned fit from international duty.

He said: "It is always good and prestigious to have players in international teams.

"They came back healthy, that was the most important aspect for us."

He continued: "I look at Burnley as a very good team, a manager that came some years ago, and had made fantastic things, I think the best classification since 1970s, so that says a lot about the work being done at Burnley.

"We look at them with true respect. Not only because of last season but the things they are involved in this season getting in Europa League.

"It is hard, we know that moment has passed and Burnley is a different reality now, totally focused on the Premier League.

"That makes things harder for us, we know them and we are going to work again tomorrow and we will be ready on Sunday."

There has been suggestion the international break could have came at the wrong time for Wolves, after earning their first win of the Premier League, but Nuno insisted they were prepared for it.

However he believes Burnley have been boosted by the break after a poor start to the season. Burnley have played 10 games so far in all competitions where they have exited the Europa League and have not won any games in the Premier League.

Nuno said: "This cycle in the beginning of the season, when you have a focus of getting in a European competition, you know it is hard to maintain the same standards in both competitions so I think the international break was good for them. Sean (Dyche) for sure had a moment to work on that team and go back over what they did so good last season so Sunday I am expecting a tough game."
