Steve Bull: Fans create an incredible atmosphere at Molineux

Teams no longer come to Molineux and think we’re whipping boys.

Opponents will struggle playing us at home and that is down to the incredible atmosphere from our fans and the way Nuno sets up the team. We play some good football!

I have seen us improving from day one in the Premier League, which is great to see.

But it will take time to adapt to England’s top flight. However, we have already started doing that – we just need to get a win on the board as soon as possible now .

The fans will play a big part in our season. They were great against Manchester City, I thought that was a tremendous game. All 28,000 fans made themselves heard. I haven’t heard Molineux rocking like that for a very long time.

All of our players, including the fringe ones, stepped up to the mark against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.

They sent out a statement to Nuno saying ‘If you want me to play I am here for you’.

But Nuno knows what he is doing. He knows what he wants and when to rest certain players.

In football you see players come go and Danny Batth will be one in a long list. But make no mistake, he has been a very good servant to the club.

I think Jordan Graham going to Ipswich is a good move for the lad. He needs to play regularly, and he will at Ipswich, sometimes twice a week.

You never know, he might come back a better player for it.

This move will certainly pick him up and give him a boost and put him in the frame again.

It was good to see Leo Bonatini end his goalscoring drought.

It is hard when you are suffering that as a striker and you are just hoping for a bit of luck to turn it around.

He has been been sitting on the sidelines asking ‘When will I get my chance?’

Bonatini would have been training hard in the week and after scoring, he would have said to Nuno ‘I am here ready for you, I will be here to score goals’. That will have done him the world of good.

I think everybody in the squad or on the verge of it will be trying their hardest to play because they want to be part of something that will be very special this year.
