Adama Traore came off the bench to score the winner in the 93rd minute to earn Wolves their first Premier League victory.

Nuno believes both teams had chances to win the game but felt Wolves were the deserving winners.

He said: "Yes we deserved the win but you have to look and think there was one moment in the game that both teams could have won it.

"First half I think we did good, we controlled the game. Second half West Ham pushed, had chances, and then the end of the game was for both teams. Counter attacks after counter attacks.

"But I think the attitude of the boys from the beginning was to look for the win. And we kept it until the end.

"When you recover the ball so high in the pitch like Ruben (Neves) did with one minute to go or two minutes to go, it says you still want to win the game, and then that is what created the chance for us to score. Well done. My boys well done."

The victory means Wolves have earned five points from their opening four games and have pushed up the table.

But West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini was left ruing the result and didn't expect to lose today.

He said: "Conceding the goal so late on was very disappointing. Also I think we didn't play especially in the first 45 minutes, in the way we need to play if we want to win.

"We knew before we started (the season) that we had seven difficult games but we didn't think we would lose these six points (from the first two home games) here but all games in the Premier League are difficult so we must work."
