Nuno: I hope Wolves support continues
Nuno Espirito Santo hopes Wolves fans will stick by the team if results don't go their way in the Premier League this season.
The Wolves boss was reflecting after watching his side draw 1-1 with Manchester City at Molineux which he thought was a good performance.
He revealed that home factor will be important to Wolves' success this season and hopes that support will continue.
"We want to create a team and build something that is able to adapt," said Nuno. "Don't change, create an identity, and identity is going to be for every Wolves player, every Wolves coach and every Wolves fan.
"An identity when you have something to hold onto no matter who comes to Molineux. We did it last season so out big challenge is to do it again over and over the weeks. Tuesday, Saturday.
"Sometimes the results come. I hope we still have that support. Sometimes the result won't come. Again, the support. So it is everybody involved not only who works in Compton, everybody.
"People in the club, the city of Wolverhampton, must be engaged with the team, trying to create something."
Nuno was asked about the belief shown by supporters in the team at Molineux on Saturday and said: "I think this belief has to do with the way we create the base last season the way we handled the competition last season especially at home.
"Home factor is one of the most important things and this belief comes what with the fans see and what we want."
The 44-year-old was also praising of his goalkeeper Rui Patricio who pulled off a magnificent save to deny Raheem Sterling.
He said: "Rui did well, it is his job, he is a goalkeeper, it is his job. Ederson did well as well (for Manchester City).
"Goalkeepers are there to stop balls going inside. If they do it pretty fantastic, if they do it simple fantastic, this is their job.
"Every player in the squad has a task."
Meanwhile England and Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker believes visiting teams will struggle playing at Molineux this season.
Walker praised Wolves' organisation but was left ruing City's missed chances where they hit the woodwork three times.
The 28-year-old said: "We created a lot of chances to put more than one past them, but they are a well organised team and it's going to be very difficult for teams to come here."
