Wolves boss Nuno: Manchester City will be a tough game
Nuno Espirito Santo is expecting a tough test against champions Manchester City tomorrow but insisted: "They have to be worried about us."
Wolves will be in search of their first win at Molineux when they host City, who have won their first two games.
But Nuno says Wolves will play with their own identity and will try to be more clinical in front of goal.
The 44-year-old said: "We have to be clinical and everything changes from there. Tomorrow we will look to try and create, first of all, the situations of the games, the chances, the opportunities for our front players to have a chance to shoot on goal, and then we will try to improve and be clinical and ruthless. I like that word, ruthless.
"We still have a long way to go with a lot of things to improve on, but we have a lot of things to take positives from (in the first two games) because this is the way we want to be, a team with identity.
"The game tomorrow is not going to be entertaining at all. It is going to be a game, a tough game, a tough game for us, a tough game for them, for sure. A football game. I hope the fans enjoy it.
"I think every player in the squad of Manchester City have a lot of qualities, a lot of talent. It is everybody that we have to worry about. But they have to be worried about us so it will be a good game for sure.
"My first and my only motivation for the game is my home factor being back at Molineux with the support of our fantastic fans.
"This is my only motivation for the game tomorrow. Home factor in the competition is very important so we will try to keep this factor on our side."
Nuno said it was possible Adama Traore could make his debut but added he still has to decide on his starting line-up.
And he also revealed that Leander Dendoncker could be named in the squad, saying: "He could be, he is working well, improving his fitness."
Wolves were only one of two teams to stop Manchester City scoring in a game last season, before going to a penalty shoot-out which they lost.
Nuno felt his team played well in that game and will try to redeem themselves tomorrow.
"It was a different game," he said. "It was a long time ago in the Carabao Cup. We made the decision in that moment to rotate a lot of players. We did well but we didn't win so what we have to do is try and win tomorrow."
He added: "Of course, we are talking about the champions of the Premier League. They showed they were better than everyone last season.
"Everybody knows how City plays, I think for sure City already analysed the way we play so it will be our idea against their idea.
"But it is nothing personal, every manager has his own vision of the game.
"I have my own, what I try is my idea will be stronger than them."
