Nuno satisfied with Wolves' start to the Premier League
Nuno Espirito Santo revealed he is pleased with Wolves' start to the Premier League despite only picking up one point so far.
The Wolves boss was 'proud' of his team's performance after losing 2-0 to Leicester - but admitted he was not happy with the final result.
But asked if he was satisfied with their start to England's top flight, Nuno said: "Results, yes. Last week we drew, this week we lose. But we are playing the way we want, the team has a lot of things to improve, this is our job, and we will do the maximum of our strengths.
"I am proud of the boys because this is the way we want to be ourselves in every pitch."
Wolves fell behind at Leicester after an own goal from Matt Doherty, before James Maddison's long range strike found the bottom right corner, helped on by a deflection off Conor Coady.
But Wolves created more chances and struck the woodwork three times. And while Nuno felt Wolves were unlucky, he also believes they need to be more clinical in the final third.
He said: "It was evident that luck wasn't with us today, everybody saw that. I feel we feel started the game very well, we started controlling the game and started creating some good chances. I wouldn't say luck, we have to be clinical.
"We will look for that last touch of quality. But the way we played today makes me proud but not happy. Of course I am not happy with the result.
"Luck, stakes, - some moments we need to be more accurate in the final third."
Record £18million signing Adama Traore made his debut on Saturday and came off the bench to play the second half.
Despite only playing for 45 minutes, he completed more dribbles than any other player in a Premier League game this season so far, with seven.
Nuno was asked for his thoughts on Traore and said: "I think like the team, everybody tries their best but I think we must improve as a team to integrate new players and recognise their qualities and put their talent on the pitch."
The Wolves boss also praised Wolves fans for their support at the game. "Thank you to our fans who support us to the end of the game," he said. "I'm proud of our fans and they appreciated in the end. They saw the game like we saw, we could and should do better."
