Steve Bull: Leicester should be a cracking game

It should be a cracking game today against Leicester.

It will be tough but if we can keep Vardy quiet then we will have a good chance of getting something out of the game.

Leicester are workers. They are not the best side, they got rid of Mahrez which was a big blow for them. But they are a hard working side and proved that by winning the Premier League and staying up.

If we can get a win against them then it would be a brilliant start with four points out of the first six.

But we have to count our chickens first before they can hatch. We will have to go out and put in a good display and get our nerves out of the way.

It would be good to see a few goals this game. There will always be goals with teams like Leicester, they are very good going forward so we will need to tighten up at the back from last week.

Nuno would have been telling the players on the training ground to roll up your sleeves and give it a good go, step it up a little bit.

Wolves started a bit nervously last week, maybe because it was the first game back in the Premier League. They weren’t on the front foot and gave Everton too much respect and sat back. It wasn’t until the sending off that we showed we can have a good go at it. But when we did show our spark, we proved we have got the quality to compete in this league.

If Wolves can show the quality they had last season then they won’t be far from half way up the table. There is not much to change from last year.

Leicester showed that teams outside the top six can win the Premier League but that is a long way off for us to even be thinking about. That season was a one off but they showed anything is possible.

This is the platform now for our players to show their quality. Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez did it last week and they have to do it week in, week out now and the other players have to do the same.

Adama Traore is available today and he will put a bit of a fright in the opposition minds, showing Wolves have got something very good coming off the bench. But I wouldn’t use him just yet, I would break him in gradually and get him used to the pace of the Premier League.
