Former Wolves man Mike Williamson now in non-league
Former Wolves defender Mike Williamson has signed for non-league Gateshead – just 15 months after his Molineux exit.
The 34-year-old has joined the National League side on a one-year deal.
He joined Wolves on a permanent basis from Newcastle, after impressing on loan, in January 2016 and left in May of last year, with injuries limiting him to just six appearances.
Williamson is not the only ex-Wolves stopper in the fifth tier, with Roger Johnson now in his second season at Bromley.
