Jonny Castro believes in Wolves
New Wolves signing Jonny Castro says he 'believes' in the club's project after moving on loan from Atletico Madrid.
The 24-year-old had joined on a season-long deal – immediately after clinching a permanent move to the Spanish giants from Celta Vigo.
Castro has signed a long-term deal with Atletico in a £6million deal.
He said: "I'm very excited! To play in the Premier League has always been a dream of mine and it's one of the reasons why I'm here. I am very happy to be here and I hope I’ll be able to contribute a lot to the team.
"I will bring a lot of desire, to help the team as much as possible to achieve the objectives and to work hard with humility and also learn as much as possible.
"Whatever you say, the team will try to be at the highest level, to be as high as possible.
"I want to enjoy a great year with these team mates and fans, and I want to keep growing as a footballer as well.
"Last year (Wolves) had a great season in Championship, they were well ahead of the other teams.
"This year they are planning great things with very good players and I’m delighted to come here.
"I believe in the club's project."
Spanish Under-21 international Jonny came through the ranks at hometown club Celta and played 222 times in all competitions, scoring five goals.
With Castro on board Wolves are willing to sell Barry Douglas to Leeds United.
They have accepted a bid from the Yorkshire club and it's expected that Douglas will depart Molineux this week.
