Rui Patricio excited by Wolves challenge - WATCH
New Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio says Nuno Espirito Santo played a fundamental role in bringing him to the club – and he can't wait to get going.
The Portugual international arrived at Compton Park on Monday after his controversial move to Molineux which has led former club Sporting to demand the 30-year-old be banned from playing for six months.
The transfer saga looks set to run and run after Sporting filed an official complaint to FIFA.
But for Patricio, speaking in his first interview since signing, his focus is on realising his Premier League dream.

"The present project and its future (attracted me to Wolves)," he said. It's without doubt an interesting project and I'm very excited to start training and playing in the Premier League which is the best in the world.
"It's a great challenge that I want to embrace and enjoy this opportunity to the fullest.
"Nuno played a fundamental role in my arrival here as we've known each other for several years.
"Nuno wasn't the only motive for my arrival as Wolves' exciting project has given me the opportunity to play here and that was without a question the biggest trigger."
Patricio isn't short of compatriot at Molineux with five Portuguese team mates and a number of backroom staff, as well as Nuno.
"Of course it will help, they're going to help me understand how the club works and how I can adapt," he added.
"The major focus in my adaption to the club as I'm the one that's new here.
"The Portuguese players will definitely help, but so will others."
"Every challenge has its good and bad (points) but what excited me about this one was the chance to play in the Premier League which is in my opinion the best in the world.
"It's a huge and very interesting challenge and I want to enjoy it as much as possible."
Winning motivates us but we also need to know how to cope with defeat.
"The major objective is to fight for the victories throughout the season.
"The goal is to achieve the best position possible, that's what we all search for.
"It also starts with the support from the fans. The club's structure, players and manager need to aspire to the same ambition, to be on the top."
