Mason played 14 times for Colorado, scoring three goals including on his debut in a 2-2 draw with Kansas City.

He had been a regular in the squad and played at the weekend, with his deal due to run until October.

However Colorado have decided to sign ex-Albion and Derby forward Giles Barnes, meaning Mason is surplus to requirements.

He joined Wolves from Cardiff in January 2016 and has played 39 times for the club, scoring eight goals.

Mason will return to Compton Park where a host of players who are surplus to requirements are training, including Paul Gladon and Jordan Graham.
