Under-23s goalkeeper Jon Flatt heads the list of 13 out-of-contract players who will not be offered new terms, while the club have also released five from their scholarship programme.

Professional terms have been however been offered to scholarship quartet Rory Brown, Ryan Giles, Diego Latte and Dion Sanderson.

Wolves have submitted their retained list to the EFL.

Sporting Director Kevin Thelwell said: “A lot of difficult decisions need to be made at this time of year. The fact that we’re releasing players is no reflection on them as there are some really good footballers there.

“We’d like to wish them all the very best for the future and we’re going to all we can to try and help them find success in football or in sport moving forward.”

The list of out-of-contract players who will not be offered new terms is as follows: Jordan Allan, Dan Armstrong, Anthony Breslin, Nicu Carnat, Ross Finnie, Jon Flatt, Conor Levingston, Tomas Nogueira, Hakeem Odoffin, Adam Osbourne, Ryan Rainey and Jose Xavier.

The scholars being released are Thomas Bexton, Brad Carr, Josh Hesson, Dominic Moan and Joel Whittingham.
