Work has already started on improving areas in the Billy Wright stand to comply with Premier League rules and regulations.

The changing rooms, manager's office, referee's room, player's lounge, broadcast interview room, kit room and medical room are all being updated for next season.

A brand new press conference room is also being installed as well as a player interview area.

Other work set to take place this summer includes improving the floodlights, which need to be brighter to cater for super slo-mo replays.

Broadcast cables will also be put in place around the pitch and the television gantry will be extended.

All newly-promoted Premier League clubs must undergo improvements such as these to cater for the demands of Sky Sports and top flight football.

A picture was leaked onto Twitter yesterday showing the tunnel area starting to be torn down. The walls will soon be demolished as work starts in earnest.

The work is expected to last all summer and will be completed just before the season starts.
