Wolves' international stars – who played?
Barry Douglas made his Scotland debut in a glut of appearances for Wolves' stars in the international break.
Left-back Douglas came on as a 67th minute substitute for Liverpool's Andy Robertson's during Scotland's 1-0 win in Hungary last night.
It was another high in Douglas' impressive season. The consistent 28-year-old, who joined for just £1m last summer, has provided 12 assists (the second highest in the Championship alongside Ivan Cavaleiro) and scored four goals for Nuno Espirito Santo's team.
Elsewhere Benik Afobe earned his second cap for DR Congo, playing the first hour in a disappointing 2-0 defeat away at Tanzania.
The trip was beset with problems, with four players including West Ham's Arthur Masuaku reportedly leaving the squad amid complaints over travel and conditions.
World Cup-bound Morocco beat Uzbekistan 2-0 in Casablanca yesterday and Romain Saiss played the first 62 minutes. Saiss had missed Morocco's game against Serbia on Friday with illness.
Alfred N'Diaye was a 72 minute substitute for Senegal – who have also qualified for the World Cup – as they drew 0-0 with Bosnia on Tuesday, following him playing the full 90 minutes against Uzbekistan late last week.
Ruben Vinagre helped Portugal qualify for the Under-19 European Championships with a 4-0 win over Ireland yesterday.
Portugal also beat Kosovo and Slovakia earlier in the week with Vinagre starting and finishing all three matches.
Morgan Gibbs-White wasn't involved for England Under-18s as they beat Belarus, but had featured against Qatar and Argentina.
Ruben Neves and Matt Doherty had played for their countries earlier in the break, with the latter making his Ireland debut.
