FA launch investigation into Diogo Jota incident during Wolves win over QPR
The Football Association have launched an investigation after Wolves attacker Diogo Jota appeared to be struck by an opponent during Saturday’s match against QPR.
The incident appeared to be missed by the match officials at the time but later came to light on social media, via a video taken by a supporter in Molineux’s South Bank.
In the video, Jota appears to be struck off-the-ball by Rangers defender Jack Robinson.
It is understood the FA have been made aware of a reported incident and are currently investigating.
Wolves won the game 2-1 thanks to goals from Alfred N’Diaye and Helder Costa to maintain their 12 point advantage at the top of the Championship.
