Nuno Espirito Santo called for his team to bounce back 'immediately' after Wolves' unbeaten league run came to an end.

Nottingham Forest ran out 2-0 winners at Molineux thanks to goals from Kieran Dowell and Ben Osborn.

Wolves failed to create a meaningful chance in the second half despite ending the game with five forwards on the pitch.

And Nuno said: "We must improve and we have to bounce back from this immediately.

"We always do the same analysis, the standard is high and we have to improve and be better than we were today.

"It was one of the games that we weren't as good as we could and should be.

"The opponent didn't create anything. I think we should have done better.

"We knew this day would come, my words must be that the run we had, 13 league games without losing, let's be fair to each other – we're doing good.

"The boys are working really well and they must be proud of the things they've done. Now we have to bounce back.

"There's still a long way to go, Ipswich are the next opponent.

"Teams are trying to adapt themselves (to play Wolves), sometimes they succeed and sometimes they don't.

"Congratulations to Nottingham but they achieved two goals when we were the better side.

"This is football, sometimes it happens to you and sometimes the other team."

Nuno took off both of Wolves' wing-backs at half time.

He explained that decision and admitted he had possibly made a mistake in not stressing how far Wolves have to go to win promotion.

"To change the game, put more one v ones on the sides, situations where we can arrive in the box," he said.

"I think all the mistakes, my, myself I'm responsible maybe for not giving the importance and telling the boys we still have a long, long way to go and nobody can relax."
