Wolves MD Laurie Dalrymple hails FA Cup support
Laurie Dalrymple has hailed the 1,800 Wolves fans who made the lengthy trip to South Wales for the club's FA Cup third round replay.
The Wolves managing director was understandably disappointed with the 2-1 defeat, which sees Nuno Espirito's Santo side out of the competition, but hailed Wolves' following on Twitter.
"Not the result we wanted tonight, but having just driven past numerous coaches on the M50 and M5, in horrible conditions, it’s not lost on me what sacrifices you all make to drive the team on." he tweeted.
"A full house on Saturday and back to league matters.
"Together, we are The Wolves!"
Over 20 coaches of Wolves fans faced the near three hour trip to the Liberty Stadium for the fixture, battling tough weather conditions throughout the evening.
The home fixture against the Swans also saw just under 23,000 pour into Molineux as the Wolves faithful continue to back the Nuno revolution which looks set to see them promoted back to the Premier League.
Wolves are expecting another sizeable crowd at Molineux this weekend, as they take on Nottingham Forest in the Championship.
