Wolves duo complete loan moves
Wolves youngsters Connor Ronan and Sylvain Deslandes have teamed up with ex-boss Kenny Jackett by joining Portsmouth on loan.
The duo have both completed moves to Fratton Park on loan until the end of the season.
Striker Aaron Collins, who had been on loan at National League side Maidstone United, has also joined League Two Newport County on loan until the end of the season.
Both Ronan and Deslandes were in and around Nuno Espirito Santo’s first team setup at the start of the campaign but haven’t featured in recent months.
Jackett signed Deslandes in 2015 and gave him his senior bow in April 2016.
He also handed Ronan his first senior involvement, taking him on pre-season trips to France in 2015 and Ireland a year later, before he was sacked in July 2016.
Jackett took the Pompey job last summer after ex-Wolves midfielder Paul Cook left the club for Wigan. Portsmouth won promotion from League Two under Cook last season and Jackett has guided them to sixth place.
Meanwhile striker Duckens Nazon is set to return to Wolves this month – and then will likely be loaned out again.
The Haiti international is due back from a loan spell with League Two side Coventry where he’s scored eight goals in 24 appearances.
The Express & Star understands Wolves’ preference is to loan Nazon to a club at a higher level.
