Conor Coady admits Wolves are braced for a hot reception from both the crowd and a pair of familiar faces when they visit Millwall today.

George Saville and Jed Wallace both left Molineux for the Den last summer and have been in fine form this term, bagging 11 goals between them.

Coady expects both will be desperate to put one over on a Wolves team who are searching for a ninth win in ten Championship games and currently sit seven points at the top of the table.

“The Den is a really tough place to go, obviously we know a few boys there and they like to try and get under our skin,” he said.

“But we are going there full of confidence. We are going there to play our way and play the way we've been doing all season.

“Jed and George are doing really well. The crowd always get behind them and play our own way.”

The game is the second of a busy festive period which sees Wolves play four times in the space of just 11 days.

But though the heavy schedule is a new experience for several key players in the squad, Coady has no doubts they will cope.

“These are professional and top class footballers. They knew what they were in for when they came here,” he said.

“It's a tough Christmas period, a traditional thing in England and we all love playing over Christmas.

“They are no different and they have been superb. It is still Saturday-Tuesday games and we've played that all season.

“We are looking forward to it. It is a real tough period for us but we are looking forward to it.

And now Wolves are no longer the league's surprise package, Coady expects the second half of the season to be even more difficult than the first.

“It gets tougher each week. You've seen the last few weeks that teams have come here and really made it tough for us.

“We went to Sheffield Wednesday, they put players on us, they changed the way they play to try and stop us.

“It is tough and we need to learn. The gaffer is giving us solutions every week to try and improve and get better.”
