Morgan, wearing a black and gold coloured scarf, was snapped sitting behind Wolves managing director Laurie Dalrymple and chairman Jeff Shi at the Manchester stadium.

He was pictured with a big smile on his face taking a photo of the game on his phone.

It is believed he was invited to the match by Dalrymple and Shi as a guest of Wolves.

Morgan owned Wolves until 2016 when he sold out to Chinese conglomerate Fosun. He famously bought the club in 2007 for a tenner off Sir Jack Hayward.

He had various run-ins with Wolves fans over the years, particularly as the club slid from the Premier League down to League One.

Forty-eight hours before he announced he was selling the club last year, Morgan was involved in a verbal spat with fans after a game at Preston.
