A proud night to be a Wolves fan

Captain Danny Batth, Jack Price and a host of former players were quick to share their thoughts after an absorbing Carabao Cup clash that saw Nuno's men eventually defeated on penalties.

The teams couldn't be separated in 120 minutes as Wolves somehow repelled City, with Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane wasting their best chances and otherwise finding Will Norris in outstanding form.

Wolves created four fantastic chances of their own but Bright Enobakhare shot at Claudio Bravo on three occasions and Helder Costa couldn't beat the keeper when in on goal.

It went all the way to penalties but Alfred N'Diaye and Conor Coady saw their spot kicks saved and Aguero dinked home the winner.
