Carl Ikeme: Joe Hart shows his support for the Wolves goalkeeper

The news of Ikeme being diagnosed with Leukaemia has rocked the world of football - and players around the world have backed the Nigerian international.

Goalkeepers from across a number of leagues have also showed their support for their positional compatriot.

Pictured by Matt Murray, Joe Hart is the latest glovesman to back Ikeme, with the ex-Wolves man tweeting:

"The big man @Carl_Ikeme had another member of the keepers union too pop by!"

Ikeme himself tweeted his thanks for the backing he's received since his diagnosis, which was made following an abnormal blood test result taken ahead of pre-season training.

The club is offering their continued support to Ikeme, confirming that he will keep the number one jersey at Molineux this season.
