The 16-year-old midfielder is highly rated north of the border and expected to soon progress to the SPL club's first team.

And Dons boss Derek McInnes says the teenager, who last year played for Aberdeen Under-20s as a 14-year-old, wants to join Wolves.

Aberdeen's official Twitter account quoted their manager today, tweeting: "Young Terry Taylor has indicated that he would like to take the option to move to Wolves but there would be a fee."

Taylor has chosen to play for Wales ahead of Scotland at youth level and has captained Wales Under-15s.

In 2015/16 he was voted Aberdeen's player of the year at under-16 level.
