How much is the Wolves squad worth?

With new manager Nuno Espirito Santo set to bring in a number of fresh faces, it is inevitable some players will be heading through the exit door.

But who are the most valuable assets at Molineux? And which forward's value has plummeted to £0? Nathan Judah takes a look at the present landscape:

Famous Five

Wolves can expect plenty of profit if they sell Helder Costa

1. Helder Costa: £19m-£23m - 38%

2. Ivan Cavaleiro: £5m-£7m - 58%

3. Kortney Hause: £2m-£4m - 46%

4. Matt Doherty: £2m-£3m - 40%

5. Ben Marshall: £2m-£3m - 62%

Unsurprisingly Helder Costa is the biggest asset in the current squad with the majority of Wolves fans valuing the Player of the Year between £19m and £23m.

Taking the £21m average, a rumoured summer sale would net the club a tidy net profit of around £8m following his £13m transfer from Benfica in January.

However Ivan Cavaleiro's value appears to have decreased slightly since his £7m move from Monaco.

The 23-year-old Portuguese international has shown moments of brilliance, but inconsistency from game to game continued to frustrate both Walter Zenga and Paul Lambert.

Five league goals represented was a fair return in his first season in English football, but a red card during Wolves' 3-1 defeat at Derby left a sour taste in the mouth.

Taking the average market value of £6m would represent a £1m loss on the 23-year-old.

Kortney Hause continues to be linked with a move away from Molineux with Arsenal and West Ham long term admirers..

Past stories have seen Hause's projected price around £6-8m. but Wolves fans disagree, valuing the England U21 international at just £2m-£4m.

With Ryan Bennett and Roderick Miranda already signed, sealed and delivered, it remains to be seen if Wolves cash in on their most valuable defender.

Matt Doherty and Ben Marshall round off the top five on the list with Doherty just shading Marshall in value due to a more fans projecting a higher value of £3m+.

But the majority put both players in the £2m-3m bracket. Doherty failed to maintain his 2015/16 form, but still retains value and remains on the cusp of the Republic of Ireland squad.

Marshall's valuation has more than doubled since his £1.2m deadline day switch from Blackburn Rovers.

Paul Lambert made it no secret of his admiration of the versatile midfielder, but with the Scotsman having left the club, time will tell what role the 26-year-old will have under the new regime.

Nouha Dicko's value was surprising

Meanwhile, at the other end of the scale, the results were quite damning for striker Paul Gladon with 63% agreeing that the £1m signing from Heracles has no market value whatsoever.

However it could be hard to shift the Dutch striker who signed a three-year-deal last summer, but only featured in 196mins of action last season.

Bar Gladon, Andy Lonergan (£0-£250k - 58%) and George Saville (£0-£500k - 49%) carry the least transfer value according to fans with Lee Evans and Silvio also rated at less than £1m.

Nouha Dicko signed a new contract until 2020, but is surprisingly worth just £1m-£2m by the Molineux faithful, the same amount as Wolves captain Danny Batth and Nigerian international Carl Ikeme.
