Wolves are still keen on Roderick Miranda.

The club have announced fixtures against Czech opposition to be played during their pre-season trip to Austria.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s team will face Czech top-flight sides FC Viktoria Plzen and FK Jablonec, who finished second and eighth respectively last season, with Plzen due to feature in the Champions League third qualifying round in 2017/18.

The Plzen clash will take place at Stadion Jenbach, in Jenbacj, on Saturday, July 15, at 6pm.

Wolves then face Jablonec at the picturesque Sportplatz Kematen in Tirol on Tuesday, July 18, before flying back to England a day later.

As previously announced. they will take on German giants Werder Bremen in Zell am Ziller on Wednesday, July 12, as part of a nine-day excursion. All three locations are within close proximity of Austrian city Innsbruck, in the far west of the country, near to Munich in the north and Liechtenstein in the west.

Admission for all three friendlies will be on the gate with pricing and details of an official club trip announced in due course.

When they return to England, the team will face Shrewsbury (a) on Saturday July 22, then Peterborough (a) the following Tuesday, before 2015/16 champions Leicester City visit Molineux on Saturday July 29 a week before the Championship campaign gets underway.

Meanwhile it’s understood that 26-year-old centre half Miranda will join in the coming week for a fee of around £2.5m.

The 6ft 3in defender is a client of Jorge Mendes and worked under Nuno at current club Rio Ave.

Wolves have been linked with a move for ex-Manchester United flop Bebe, who is now with Eibar in La Liga.

While there is an interest in the winger, again a Mendes client, it’s not thought he’s currently close to joining.

Goalkeeper Andy Lonergan, though, is set to leave the club this summer. It’s believed the 33-year-old has been told he can move on.
