Paul Lambert appointed Wolves manager following the sacking of Walter Zenga after just 14 games.
He named Rob Edwards and Stuart Taylor as his first team coaches. Lambert hoped he would have a 'major say' in future club transfers moving forward.
November 19th
In his first game in charge, Lambert steadies the ship with a solid if unspectacular 0-0 draw at Preston.
December 1st
And he didn't have to wait too long to get his first win (third game in charge) after Wolves beat struggling QPR 2-1 at Loftus Road.
Jan 7th 2017
Eyebrows were raised with his team selection during Wolves' FA Cup third round tie at Stoke.
But the Scot proved everybody wrong, masterminding and excellent 2-0 win at the Bet 365 stadium.
Jan 14th
Wolves seemed galvanised following their Stoke heroics as Lambert comfortably disposed of his old club Aston Villa at Molineux.

Lambert produced arguably his best moment as manager when Wolves overcame the impossible and knocked Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool out the FA Cup at Anfield.A day that will live long in the memory.
Victory over Barnsley just three days later was enough to earn Lambert a manager of the month nomination for January.
Things went from good to great for Lambert as Wolves duly announced the four-and-a-half year signing of Helder Costa for a club record £13m.

But the tide turned rapidly for Lambert and Wolves as they lost six in a row including damaging defeats to Burton Albion, Wigan and Birmingham City leaving them perilously close to the relegation zone.
March
Three successive wins in March took Wolves away from the danger zone while earning Lambert the manager of the month award.
April 29th
However it was another indifference end to the season as Wolves lost four out of their last seven games, finishing the season a disappointing 15th.
May 11th
As if from nowhere, Paul Lambert's Wolves future is suddenly cast into doubt with the boss seeking assurances over the club's transfer policy.
Over the following days, several other managers are linked with his job - with the club failing to release any kind of statement regarding his job.

While many believed Lambert needed a summer to rebuild his squad and turn them into promotion hopefuls, Fosun had other ideas.
Following several weeks of speculation he parted way with Wolves with a league record of 12 wins, 5 draws and 13 defeats.
