Andy Lonergan

Another clean sheet, his second in succession. Made a good save from Elliott Bennett's free kick which was sneaking in at his near post. But his distribution was frustratingly slow at times, with the home fans getting on his back for it. Also reluctant to come for a couple of crosses. 6/10

Conor Coady

Lacked his usual bite and tenacity. Was occasionally hesitant but generally got away with it, with Blackburn lacking the quality to punish Wolves. Did nothing of note going forward. 5/10

Mike Williamson

Didn't have a huge amount to do but he generally did it pretty well. Kept his distribution nice and simple and was careful not to let Bennett's pace get the better of him. 6/10

Richard Stearman

As above. Two appearances and two clean sheets for the Williamson/Stearman partnership. Managed to ensure danger-man Sam Gallagher barely had a sniff of goal and had few problems, albeit against a limited Blackburn team. 6/10

Matt Doherty

Withdrawn after 21 minutes with a hamstring problem which looks likely to end his season early. N/A

Ben Marshall

Wanted to impress against his former employers but he didn't manage it. His worst game since coming into the team at Reading away in early March. Lacked creativity, movement and inspiration. Taken off in the second half. Very poor. 4/10

David Edwards

Not lacking in workrate or energy. But was lacking in quality on a day when Wolves created barely any chances of note. 4/10

Romain Saiss

A few nice crossfield passes, especially one to Morgan Gibbs-White in the second half, but generally he was indicative of Wolves' passive, lethargic play. Like Edwards of late and many of his team mates, he looks a better player in away games. 4/10

George Saville

Played in two positions during the game, neither of which he specialises in, namely left midfield and left back. As usual he did a job, and made few errors. But he didn't make much of an impact on the game. 5/10

Andreas Weimann

Played behind Dicko in a 4-4-1-1 but it didn't really work. He was effective at Leeds in the same position, dragging defenders all over the place, but here he feeding off scraps and, apart from a couple of decent balls into the box, he was fairly anonymous. 5/10

Nouha Dicko

Yes the service to him was dire, but he contributed next to nothing. 3/10

Substitutes

Ivan Cavaleiro (for Doherty, 21)

Doherty's early injury gave him a chance to impress, but he didn't take it. Floated around producing nice touches here and there but for actual end product he was lacking. To be honest, he just looked like he didn't fancy it. His afternoon was summed up when he put on Kortney Hause's shirt just before he came on. Probably one of the ones Lambert was referring to when he said he'd learned a lot about his players' mentality after the game. 4/10

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson (for Dicko, 45)

Huffed and puffed...that was about it. Had Wolves' best chance in a three-on-three but took a touch and was tackled (although the home fans were screaming for a penalty). 4/10

Morgan Gibbs-White (for Marshall, 67)

He and Weimann were the only ones trying to lift the tempo and looking to do something positive. Again, chances-wise there was little to talk about, but he least he gave a damn. Should start on Tuesday. 6/10

Subs not used: Burgoyne, Hause, Evans, Mason.
