30 years of Steve Bull: The games, goals & glory
Steve Bull has had black and gold in his veins ever since signing for Wolves 30 years ago this weekend.
And to celebrate the landmark anniversary the lethal marksman has been pictured like never before – covered in gold paint.
Bully agreed to take part in the unusual shoot with the Express & Star's chief photographer, Tim Thursfield, and was delighted with the final images. He said: "It is one of the weirdest experiences I have ever had. I've never had paint on my body before. When it was all done and I've seen the picture it looks absolutely brilliant. It reflects the old gold and black."
Bully's golden transformation was the handiwork of professional make-up artist Leanne Woolley.

Having signed for Wolves on November 20, 1986, Bully went on to break the club's all-time goalscoring record, famously netting 306 times.
Make sure to buy today's Express & Star to see all of the pictures, along with plenty of more Steve Bull memories to mark the milestone date.
