Wolves striker Joe Mason out for a month
Wolves striker Joe Mason has been ruled out of action for a month through injury.
Mason has missed Wolves' last two matches and is due to undergo surgery on Friday for a hernia problem.
It's estimated he'll be out of action for four weeks.
The 25-year-old hasn't started a league game since September 13, although he remains Wolves' joint-top scorer this season with three goals.
Meanwhile midfielder Lee Evans isn't expected to return to action until after the international break.
Evans hobbled off during the 3-1 win at Blues in August and hasn't featured since.
Interim boss Rob Edwards said of Wolves' current injury list: "Joe Mason is having an operation on Friday on his hernia, so he'll be missing for about four weeks.
"Lee Evans should be back after the international break.
"Otherwise we're looking healthy and we've got a good, large squad to pick from. Everyone else is available except for Mike Williamson, Michal Zyro and Jordan Graham."
Edwards also said he had no qualms in in accepting the role of interim boss when it was offered to him by sporting director Kevin Thelwell on Tuesday.
"It's a wonderful opportunity," he said. "It's a club that I love and I'd do anything for them.
"Whatever they need, I'll do, and to the best of my ability."
