Wolves 0 Leeds 1 - player ratings
Wolves correspondent Tim Spiers rates the players after yet another defeat.
Carl Ikeme
Another game, another defeat, another quiet afternoon for Ikeme. Only one save of note when he pushed Chris Wood's shot around the post. Helpless for the goal. 6/10
Silvio
A Molineux debut for the right-back. No blame attached to him for the own goal (Kemar Roofe would surely have scored anyway) and otherwise Silvio looked pretty tidy. 7/10
Danny Batth
A tough test against Chris Wood and the former Albion striker only had one chance all game. Distribution was better too. Looked good in his last two games, possibly as a result of moving to the right-sided centre half position in Dominic Iorfa's absence. 7/10
Kortney Hause
Began the game well but made a few errors in the second half and gave the ball away too often. 6/10
Matt Doherty
A really poor mistake for the goal and he was hauled off by his boss five minutes later. Also contributed to Leeds hitting the bar in the first half when his hesitation allowed Sacko to sprint clean through. 4/10
Helder Costa
Looked better from 30 yards than he did from three. Close with a couple of long range efforts including one that brushed the roof of the net. Walter Zenga absolved Costa of any blame for spurning that 90th-minute chance from six yards. But he should have scored. 6/10
David Edwards
His best performance of the season. Won an endless succession of loose balls and tackles in the first half and was often the catalyst for getting Wolves going. Also seemed to instigate the show of unity from the team at full time when the players applauded all four sides of the ground. If his team mates all showed the same commitment, professionalism and desire, Wolves would be far higher up the table. 8/10
Romain Saiss
Solid, if not spectacular. Moved the ball briskly and provided a solid barrier in front of the back four. Good to see he's learning his lesson with yellow cards. After four successive bookings he's avoided a yellow in his last three appearances. 7/10
Joao Teixeira
Was at his magical best at times in the first half, skipping past challenges, teeing up team mates and getting shots away at goal. Faded after the break and was substituted. 7/10
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson
Just couldn't get into the game. Threw his body around for 90 minutes with absolutely no reward. Chased a lot of lose causes but he made very little impact. Didn't help that the 6ft 3in striker was playing so deep. 4/10
Nouha Dicko
A couple of sniffs of goal in the first half but lacked the conviction of the old Dicko. The more he plays, the stronger he will feel. And Wolves only playing once a week until December will help with his recovery and preparation. Not playing on instinct yet. But it will come. 5/10
Substitutes
Ivan Cavaleiro (for Dicko, 62)
Looked to make things happen but nothing really came off for him. Has to do more in these substitute appearances. 6/10
Ola John (for Teixeira, 76)
His first Molineux appearance and he almost marked it by setting up the equaliser with a great run and cross for Costa in injury time. Must be utilised more. 6/10
Conor Coady (for Doherty, 76)
Sent on at right back but did nothing of note. 6/10
Subs not used: Lonergan, Stearman, Oniangue, Gladon.
