It's very early days in the season, but there is certain a feelgood factor around Wolves right now.
A five-game unbeaten start to the season, third place in the Championship table and seven – yes, seven – new signings snapped up within a month have got fans dreaming on what might happen this season.
Jed Wallace is keen to play as big a role as possible in the Fosun/Walter Zenga revolution.
And he did his chances no harm with one of his best performances in a Wolves shirt in the 3-1 win at Blues on Saturday.
"For 15 minutes in the first half was as good as I've seen Wolves play for a long, long time," he said.
"It was enjoyable to be a part of it.
"We just bombarded them, got the goal, got the second one and then the two centre-halves (Danny Batth and Kortney Hause) for the last half an hour were ridiculous, they were winning everything, they were immense.
"You see Jon (Dadi Bodvarsson) up front charging after everything and people flying into headers when they've come off the bench.
"I'm really enjoying it here.
"The boys are buzzing and we go on to Tuesday now. Not to get too carried away with the result, it's just one win at the end of the day."
Bodvarsson is already a cult hero with the Wolves fans and he instigated some memorable scenes at full-time in front of the packed away end.
Wallace added: "I was saying to Pricey (Jack Price) and Danny (Batth) and Eddo (David Edwards), people who have been here for eight years, Jon's bowled in, been here three weeks and he's got the place on toast!
"No, it's great scenes. I thought he was immense, he gives us an out ball and works so hard.
"Everyone's playing their part. I'm excited for the future.
"I really want to make myself a good player here and improve on what I did last year.
"I think I played quite well, it was one of my better games for Wolves, so hopefully it's something for me to build on now going into the future.
"It makes it a great start. But it is only a start. Brighton got off to an absolute flyer last year and they got caught in the end."
Wolves turn their attention to the second round of the EFL Cup tonight.
Zenga is promising to play a strong team as he looks to keep the early-season momentum going.
"It's important for us, every game is important," he said.
"I know that I'm boring, but you cannot think about tomorrow if you do not prepare in the right way today.
"This derby bring only three points. I don't call not one younger player.
"I study Cambridge, they play an amazing game against Sheffield Wednesday (in the first round) and won 2-1.
They have two nice wingers, one interesting midfielder, Joe Pigott, we have to play nice football and concentrated football, and as a team.
"There's no easy game at all.
"Every game is different, the story of the games are totally different every time.
"We have to prepare in the right way.
"I stay with a full squad (not younger players) and not underestimate anybody."
