Jorge Mendes, Fosun chairman and Benfica president attend Wolves v Rotherham

The multi-billionaire chairman of Fosun - Guo Guangchang - and super-agent Jorge Mendes made a surprise appearance at Wolves' game versus Rotherham today.

They were joined by Benfica president Luís Felipe Vieira at the New York Stadium.

The trio travelled up from Molineux after visiting Wolves' stadium on Saturday morning.

Billionaire Guo Guangchang has been the main man behind some of Fosun's biggest international investments over the past 24 years, build the group into one of China's biggest privately owned companies with assets worth around £46 billion.

He is currently engaged with the flotation of a £2bn US insurance company and has a personal wealth of £4.1bn, making the 49-year-old the 17th richest Chinese man on this year's Forbes Rich List.

Mendes, who count Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo among his clients, has been the man spearheading Wolves' recent transfer deals which have included three Portuguese signings with links to Benfica.

The appearance of Benfica president Luis Felipe Vieira confirms that the two clubs will be closely linked going forward.
