After months of uncertainty and speculation the Chinese conglomerate bought 100 per cent of Steve Morgan's shares last week.
Gallen, who took charge of the team for Tuesday night's friendly defeat at Northampton, believes there exciting times ahead at Wolves.
He said: "It's great news for the club going forward, there's no doubt about it.
"There's a big opportunity now for Wolves. The fans will want us to be pushing at the top end of this division.
"The people at the top end of the club are talking about getting up to the Premier League, and that's what we all want, definitely the fans.
"And I think plans are afoot to get the club there. So it's really exciting and overall I'm just pleased for the supporters.
"It's a big club with its fanbase and history and it's been a privilege to have been at Wolves for the last three years, personally.
"I'm really pleased people have come in and have got big ambitions. It's exciting for everyone."
Kenny Jackett's position has been under threat for weeks. But Gallen says he and the staff are just concentrating on winning football matches,
"You just have to carry on and do your job," he said.
"We all get paid and you do your job as best you can. We're looking forward to Swansea, then Rotherham and Crawley and Reading.
"I think we can win these games and that's always the key thing.
"Everyone wants to take your mind off everything, we just try and win."
